Opportunity for All

We are committed to the well-being and success of all community members. Columbia complies with all applicable civil rights laws and does not engage in illegal preferences or discrimination.

A Culture of Respect

The Department of Anesthesiology is committed to fairness and a culture of respect in our working and learning environments. These values are inseparable from our missions. We encourage open dialogue and mutual understanding to strengthen teamwork and innovation, while honoring the unique experiences, identities, and perspectives of each person.

Monthly seminars

Residents and fellows in our educational programs are invited to monthly seminars conducted by the Columbia University Irving Medical Center/NewYork Presbyterian GME Task Force. The seminars provide opportunities for mentorship, networking, and career development, and foster an environment where everyone feels valued, supported, and empowered to contribute.
